VocaLive offers a comprehensive suite of 12 real-time professional vocal effects, making it an essential tool for singers and vocalists. This versatile app not only provides a range of effects but also includes various tools to help you practice, sing, and record your vocals.

One of the standout features of VocaLive is the ability to combine effects into a chain of four processors and save them as presets. To get you started immediately, the app comes with a collection of 55 presets. Furthermore, upon registration, you unlock the Double effect, and you have the option to add 10 additional effects from a selection that includes Pitch Fix, Choir, Morph, De-Esser, Delay, Parametric EQ, Compressor, Chorus, Phazer, and Envelope Filter. This extensive range of effects provides unparalleled creative processing power for your vocals.

In addition to vocal effects, VocaLive allows you to process your voice and sing along to any song in your iTunes Music library. The Voice Cancel feature enables the removal of existing vocals from songs, allowing for seamless integration with your preferred backing tracks. The app also includes vocal warm-up tools to help you prepare for your performances.

VocaLive introduces a new 2-track recorder that enables you to sing over backing tracks. For those looking for more advanced recording capabilities, the studio section can be expanded via in-app purchase to access a full 8-track recording studio. This feature proves useful for recording complete songs.

Furthermore, VocaLive provides the optional Mic Room feature that emulates the sound and color of 20 classic and modern studio microphones. This feature gives you even more control over your vocal tone and allows you to achieve professional-grade recordings.

To cater to live performers, VocaLive offers a new Live Mode that optimizes the user interface specifically for live use. The intuitive layout allows users to see their entire chain at a glance and provides easy-to-read settings and controls designed for the stage. Additionally, the app offers a 4-track looper that enables users to create songs and harmonies on the fly.

VocaLive is compatible with IK's iRig Mic range of microphones for the best sound quality. However, it can also be used with other 3rd party mics or the built-in microphone on your iPhone or earbuds for quick idea recordings.

Controlling your virtual rig is made convenient through integration with iRig Stomp I/O or iRig Blueboard. Both options allow for changing presets, controlling effects, and more, with iRig Stomp I/O offering a traditional foot-operated control setup while iRig Blueboard provides wireless Bluetooth control on the go.

In terms of compatibility, VocaLive supports Core Audio and Core MIDI, meaning you can use any compatible third-party interface or MIDI controller. It is also compatible with Audiobus and Inter-App Audio, allowing for seamless integration with your favorite recording or songwriting apps.
